At State Of The Art Smiles, every dental service starts the same way: we listen to your concerns, examine your teeth, and show you what we see. If you’ve put off the dentist because you weren’t sure what you’d hear, that’s where we begin.
Then we discuss every reasonable option. You decide what’s right for you, and nobody pressures you into treatment.

Every service below starts with an exam. Find the reason you’re coming in, then follow the link for the details.
Preventive visits twice a year help our dentists catch decay and gum disease early. Our cleanings and exams include a professional cleaning, an exam, x-rays when you need them, and an oral cancer screening.
If your gums bleed, our team treats gum disease with scaling and root planing, a deep cleaning below the gumline.
Dr. Ameha repairs small cavities with tooth-colored composite fillings and replaces old silver fillings. When a tooth is too damaged for a filling, a porcelain or ceramic dental crown restores its strength.
Our dentists also treat infected teeth with root canal therapy. When decay or damage goes too far to save a tooth, our dentists remove it, and that includes wisdom teeth.
A dental bridge fills the gap from a missing tooth with a series of connected crowns. For several or all missing teeth, a dental lab technician handcrafts full and partial dentures from impressions of your mouth.
Dr. Katz also places dental implants for patients who want a fixed option.
Replacing a full arch? See All-on-4 and All-on-X, zygomatic implants, and what dental implants cost.
Cosmetic dentistry at State Of The Art Smiles changes the color, shape, and spacing of your teeth. Porcelain veneers cover chips, gaps, and discoloration on the teeth that show when you smile.
Professional teeth whitening brightens your teeth multiple shades in one office visit. Dr. Katz completed advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Call us if you have a toothache, a broken tooth, swelling, or a crown that came off. Our emergency dentistry team offers same-day appointments when availability allows, and we treat new patients in an emergency.
If you’re bleeding uncontrollably, feeling dizzy, or have a severe injury, call 911.
If the dentist makes you anxious, mention it when you book. During your visit, you can choose headphones, cable TV, blankets, and pillows.
For deeper relaxation, sedation dentistry options include nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation. Dr. Katz holds a license to provide IV and oral sedation.
Arrange a child’s first dental visit by age one, or earlier when the first tooth erupts. Our office routinely schedules children from about age 2½. Younger children should see a pediatric dentist for early care. Kids can tag along to a parent’s cleaning and explore the play area before their own visit.
Children’s visits under our family dentistry care include exams, cleanings, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride.

State Of The Art Smiles uses digital x-rays, 3D scanning, AI-assisted diagnostics, and an intraoral camera that puts your teeth on the screen. Your dentist uses these images to show you exactly what he sees.
The office also uses 3D printing and in-office milling. Together, this technology helps our dentists deliver more comfortable, accurate, and predictable care.
Dr. Phillip Katz owns State Of The Art Smiles and graduated with special distinction from The Ohio State University. He holds a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Katz completed advanced training at the Spear Institute, The Pacific Implant Institute, The California Implant Institute, and UCLA. His teaching background includes service as one of Spear Education’s original 100 Visiting Faculty Mentors in 2014–2015. He is a supervising instructor at the California Implant Institute.
