Dr. Ameha checks your teeth and gums and takes digital x-rays or scans only when you need them. Our office uses digital x-rays, TRIOS digital scanning, and a Carestream CS 9600 3D scanner.
3. You see what we see
An intraoral camera puts your own teeth on the screen, so you see what Dr. Ameha sees.
4. We build a plan together
We explain what we found, discuss every reasonable option, and create a plan with you. You decide what happens next, without pressure.
Depending on your needs, your first visit may focus on the exam, your x-rays, and your treatment options instead of a cleaning.

Patients who pay in full up front receive a 5% courtesy, and senior citizens who pay in full receive 10%. Patients without insurance can ask our team about our in-office plan.

Will I get a cleaning at my first visit?
Whenever possible, yes. We try to include a cleaning with your comprehensive exam. Depending on your needs, the visit may focus on the exam, digital x-rays, and your treatment options instead.
I haven't seen a dentist in years. Will you judge me?
No. Our team won’t pass judgment, whether you stayed away because of fear or because of cost. We treat every patient as an individual and start with where your teeth are today.
Does a first dental visit hurt?
A first dental visit is an exam and, whenever possible, a cleaning. If you’re anxious or sensitive, tell our team, and we’ll offer headphones, blankets, nitrous oxide, or oral sedation.
Do you see children?
Yes. We like to see children when they’re about 2½ years old. Kids can come along to a parent’s cleaning first, explore the play area, and sit in the dental chair before their own visit.
